To use this collection of reports to their fullest you will need to move between webpages, downloadable documents, video and other websites. Once you have chosen a page with the option to download a report, right click (or control click if you are a Mac user) on the text inviting you to download and save the file to your desk top (you can open the file in your browser, but it may not work as it should). You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to use these files properly, but not to worry as you can download it free from www.adobe.com. If you do not use Acrobat you will not be able to use the navigation or link to the video and audio files. You may also be prompted to download a newer version of the program if you have an older version. Again this is free.
When you open a file, it will seem to take over your monitor, but don't panic. It is designed to be seen as a full screen document. Hit the esc button to return to the Acrobat interface if you prefer to have the Acrobat controls. To return to full screen, go to View and choose the Full Screen option.
Links within the documents are indicated by ">>" and navigation (simply forward, backward and close) run along the top. Video content can be accessed by clicking the text describing the videos. You will require a Flash Player to play the videos. Again, this is available from the Adobe page above, but if you are online, the player should open automatically for you. The three audio files require Quicktime or another mp3 player. Quicktime is a free player from Apple and is downloadable here. You do not need Quicktime Pro for to hear these files.
The links on the final pages of each report will take you to external websites which we hope remain in good order.
The site has been designed to be used with the Safari browser for Mac. It has been tested in other browsers, particularly Firefox. Alas, not all browsers work in the same way, so if you want the full effect, we suggest using one of the browsers mentioned.
Enjoy!
